Report a concern.

If something worries you about a carer, a family, or anyone connected to Kithra, tell us here. You don’t need an account, and you can report anonymously.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 now.

This form is not an alternative to the emergency services. For a crime that isn’t an emergency, call the police on 101.

What we do with a report

Kithra is where a family keeps a person's care record and shares it with the people they choose — it is not a care provider and does not investigate, adjudicate or supervise anyone's care. When you report a concern, a real person reads it, acts on it, and where needed passes it to the police or to the local authority’s adult safeguarding team, who have the legal power to act. We never tell the person you are reporting. A report about illegal content is acted on straight away. If you complain about how we handled a report, we decide within 10 working days and tell you the outcome and the reason (see the Kithra terms, “Complaints and disputes”).

By sending this, you agree we can use what you tell us to look into the concern and, where needed, share it with the police or your local authority’s adult safeguarding team. We never tell the person you are reporting.

An intimate image of you, shared without your consent

If an intimate image of you, or of someone you act for, has been shared through us without consent, tell us here. We take it down within 48 hours of your report and never open it.

You can also report directly to the local council

If you’re worried an adult is being abused or neglected, the adult safeguarding team at the council where they live can act whether or not you tell us. Find their council at gov.uk/find-local-council and ask for “adult safeguarding” (sometimes called the adult social care team). For a crime, call the police on 101 — or 999 in an emergency.
